  • Why Mike deserves an award for awesome father:

Katie is dealing with a nasty flu like bug. Well the red bucket she's been carrying in case she needs to throw up isn't a lot of fun. It is now Mr. Pukey Bucket courtesy of post it stickies

  • So I finally irritated Mike enough for him to blow up at me for mentioning a minivan every time we need to take two cars.....So I suggested since the rewards for workbook pages is working really well for Katie, maybe I need a reward chart to earn my minivan. I think it needs categories such as:

Dining room table without anything on it,
    Loads of laundry,
A clean car on the weekends,
    Loads of dishes

  • It's weird since Katie is away for the night.....Memorial Day weekend update.

Had a successful yard sale. Ok I was up till 2am and woke up at 5:30am, that didn't make me a happy camper. But I definately thrive on stress.

Was up till 2am because I didn't prep anything for the yard sale till last night, because I went shopping with Tiffany. Yay! Picked up new clothes and purses.....

Thanks to Tiff, Jackie and Andrew for watching Gavin so Mike and I could see Star Trek. The froyo trip was awesome. Gavin needs to learn to give kisses with his mouth closed NOT like a dog.

While watching the awesome movie I realized we need to watch it over with drinks. Drink every time someone is hanging off an edge and every time someone is strangled.

  • Tonight Gavin accidentally hit Katie in the cheek with a toy. So we told Gavin to give Katie a hug. The little imp proceeded to smack Katie upside the head and blow a raspberry at her. Then gave me a smack in the head and laughed. Meanwhile Mike looked on in disbelief. (By the way Gavin is only 14 months old)

Went to the zoo the other day when Katie was bitten by a goose that wanted her granola bar. Our little girl didn't let that granola bar go. Cried about her finger and finished that granola bar. Don't worry kiddo the goose didn't win.

  • For those of you who have never experience sheep sheering. It looked like the sheep wasn't happy when he was nipped, but I didn't get that part on tape.

  • Ok time to recap....

We had 90 degree weather in the middle of April....so we went to the beach

See the following link for more pics

Then there was some Street fair action at the local Jubilee.....

Mike just loooves the hat, but at least it keeps the sun off me.

Then one night we went for ice cream at Baskin Robbin's 31cent scoop night. Nothing better then ice cream for 4 for under $1.

Then we went and watched some Sheep Shearing at Howell farm. This was an awesome trip that started with watching Border Collies herd sheep which jumped over a fence in front of us. Then Katie got to mill some pig feed and we took Katie to do a craft which by the way was really cool. There was a felt butterfly craft. I assumed she'd piece some felt together because felt can come from sheep, not realizing that Katie would be taking real sheep floofy stuff and make it into felt with soap and water. We're totally going to try this at home sometime.

After all the crazy excitement in this post I'll eventually get to the wedding weekend stuff :P
